Dr. Noe Acosta wrote his 1999 doctoral dissertation on the conflicts between the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Bible. This book is a collection of essays by Catholics who consider his arguments against Purgatory, praying to Mary, sacramental Confession, the authority of the Church, and many other topics. Several Calvinist doctrines which were covered in Acosta’s dissertation also have essays devoted to them. |

| Suggest a Project: We review submissions of published or publicly available critiques of Catholicism for conformity with our guidelines. If a work meets our criteria, we may make it the subject of an upcoming book. Our criteria are that the work be written by an acquaintance of a Project Dominic member, the work needs to be published or publicly available, and must contradict the teachings of the Catholic Church. If you have a submission but are not a member of Project Dominic, you are welcome to join. | |
